The storm came early in the season and the leaves hadn’t had a chance to drop. The sticky, wet snow efficiently filled the trees, eventually dropping limbs.

October 2011, we were hit with a major snow storm. There were still leaves on the trees. The weight of the heavy, wet snow toppled limbs and knocked out power for several days.
